The Artful Brick

Describing the process of designing two illustrations made of (digital) LEGO bricks.

A great dragon, but could have used other set pieces.

    A cute modular set that fits well with the other Animal Crossing offerings.

Though a bit basic, it comes with a good assortment of unusual parts that make for creative opportunities.

   A nice diorama, but with some finish issues (and minidolls).

A perfected version of the modular vehicles first introduced in 80030 , with only a few color issues to mar its greatness.

    A non-scary monster who just wants to read his stories.

While the play is limited, the final result looks stellar.

  Some interesting new pieces and a great Dragonian minifig, but the price and piece count don't quite justify it.

The sidebuilds might be a bit lacking, but the main jet is creative and colorful.

A great "desert island" set with lots of useful pieces, but only 10 of the builds are in the booklet.

The movie wasn't the greatest, but the architecture of this set is pretty good.

How much of a scene can you fit in 2.5"?

Specialty pieces and colors may have contributed to this set's smallish feeling.

A pretty solid mech, but is it worth the price?

  Sick beats from a sweet minifig.

In this, my first official set review, I've come up with a format that I think will be helpful.
